Slot diffuser and ceiling coordination guide
Prepare slot arrangement, visible length, ceiling details and plenum connections together before requesting a quotation.
Describe the visible run
Start with the slot diffuser reference and a reflected ceiling plan showing each run. Record the required slot count, slot width, visible length and finish as separate fields. Distinguish an individual product length from the complete architectural run. Mark corners, ends and interruptions where shown by the designer, and ask which section and joint arrangements are available. A single overall length does not explain how separate pieces meet or how the installation follows the ceiling layout.
Coordinate the space above the ceiling
Attach a section showing the ceiling construction, available void depth and the intended diffuser interface. Identify the matching plenum, connection size and connection position, with nearby services marked where relevant. State whether the enquiry includes the plenum or only the diffuser. Keep lighting, access panels and ceiling supports visible on the coordination drawing. Where drawings remain provisional, flag the unresolved dimension instead of turning it into an assumed manufacturing requirement.
Connect the appearance to the air schedule
Identify each run as supply, return or another function stated in the approved design. Include the airflow schedule and specified air direction for review, and distinguish any architectural continuation from a section intended to carry air. Ask the designer to confirm this arrangement. Before ordering, reconcile the quotation with the latest plan, section, finish reference and accessory list. Use those documents together to resolve missing scope rather than assuming every visible run has identical construction.
Before you contact SKYRO

Useful answers before you enquire.
Which length should I put in a slot diffuser enquiry?
Record the complete visible run and any proposed individual section lengths separately. Attach a plan so joints, ends and interruptions can be discussed.
Is a plenum automatically included?
State the required scope explicitly. Identify the plenum dimensions, inlet arrangement and insulation requirement, if specified, as part of the enquiry.
Can the ceiling plan alone explain the installation?
Add a section where possible. It shows the ceiling interface, void depth and connection position that a plan view may leave unclear.
Should all runs use the same air direction?
Use the direction specified by the project designer for each run. Include the airflow schedule so the intended arrangement can be reviewed.
What should I do when a light conflicts with the diffuser?
Mark the conflict on the coordination drawing and refer it to the project team. Confirm the revised run and product schedule before ordering.
